1. Where can I download a newer version of my browser or browser component?
To download an updated browser version, please go to the following download sites:
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Netscape Communicator
If you use Internet Explorer 4.0 (or above) but are still unable to view the real-time quotes, you may download a newer version of Microsoft Virtual Machine (Java VM) by following the steps below:
- From the toolbar at the top, click "Tools" and go to "Windows Update". Alternatively, you can access this feature here: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
- The browser will detect your computer settings automatically. Please make sure that the page "Windows Update" appears in the same language as your operating system. i.e. if you are using an English Windows system, the page should be in English.
- Under the section "Critical Updates", locate "Microsoft Virtual Machine" and tick the box.
- Click the "DOWNLOAD" button on the top right
hand corner of the screen, then click "Start Downloading" on the next
screen. Windows Update will be installed automatically onto your
computer.
2. What are the proper steps to install the Internet Explorer?
Please follow the steps below to install Internet Explorer:
Run ie5setup.exe --> select Customise your browser and remember to check "Microsoft Virtual Machine" in the Component Options screen and click Next to continue.
